New Series: Ill make you into an Otaku, so make me into a Riajuu!

So this one’s a bit of a mouthfull – I apologize. We’ll probably be referring to it as Otaria.

Art is by the guy who did Namiiro, which I enjoyed a lot. The manga is based on a light novel series that you can find over at Baka-Tsuki. I haven’t personally checked it out yet, but I certainly plan to once I get the time.

Many thanks to larethian for offering to translate this series. It literally wouldn’t be possible without him. Also many thanks to kundumstaf for helping out. Last but not least, many thanks to Lollipop for providing us with the gorgeous credit page.

I hope you will enjoy this series as much as we do.

  1. In italian “otaria” = sea lion :o it is not funny, but I can’t help but think about it..

    anyway thanks!

  2. Nice on the quick release, oh Kaji I sent you stuff in email, but nice on the quick release

  3. On Baka-Tsuki? MU doesn’t list any novel with otaku under BT… Please share the link if it is there (searching for stuff on BT is a royal PITA).

    1. Except: “There is currently no text in this page. You can search for this page title in other pages, or search the related logs.”

  4. Okay I thought nothing more could further annoy me than the midget tsundere lolis.

But midget tsundere lolis with glam pedicured fingernails that clashes with their cutesy kiddy nature just trumped it for me.

  5. Ehh… Cover looks almost exactly like OreImo. Lower jaw hit the floor when I saw the cover art.

  6. Uhhh…aside from the otaku-idea, this seem strangely similar to ToraDora

Well, he’s got about half the story to go to make her actually fall for him and realize she likes him \- -/~

    1. Actually, I heard it’s pretty similar to ToraDora and My Sister Can’t Possibly be this Cute (if I’m not mistaken)
